Kalpesh has 23 years extensive experience in community development and project management, particularly in rural and tribal areas. He has held significant positions in organizations such as Kutch Mahila Vikas Sangathan (KMVS) for 8 years and the CIBART from 2010 onwards.
At KMVS, he coordinated a livelihood program for 1200 traditional embroidery artisans, developing handicraft programs, micro-level business plans, and strategies. His responsibilities included marketing, brand management, raw material management, design development, financial oversight, MIS, quality management, and capacity building through training.
In his role at CIBART, Kalpesh developed strategies, proposals, budgets, and business plans for bamboo operations in Gujarat. His skills encompass social program administration, community mobilization, micro-planning, project management, team leadership, participatory approaches, interpersonal communication, presentation, process documentation, and analytical skills. Mahesh R Kurmi is well experienced professional of Bamboo and Rural Sector from last 27 years. He is supporting livelihood to hundred of tribal people in bamboo handicraft, structures and construction in CIBART.
He holds a P.G. Diploma in Computer Management from North Jalgaon University and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from South Gujarat University. Proficient in TALLY and MS Office, Mahesh has honed his skills over 12 years with BAIF and 15 years as Head-Operations Gujarat at the CIBART.
In his role at CIBART, Mahesh has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategic leadership, and community mobilization, focusing on bamboo sector development in Gujarat and India. His responsibilities have included developing strategies, proposals, and business plans, managing client relations, and liaising with government departments. He has also been instrumental in forming and training Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and managing various rural development projects, showcasing his ability to drive sustainable and impactful initiatives.
Dr Kshitij Malhotra has vast 19 years of Research, extension and consultancy work experience including diverse subjects of Botany, Forestry, and Agricultural Education.
His expertise spans in proposal development for CSR in skill development, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, biodiversity conservation, root biology, plant propagation, plant breeding, and biofuels.
